#8 Phoenix

As I lay tethered to the past
I mourn the future
Silver overalls on the eyes
They glitter as I move on

The gush of water
Shapes the stone
At time's mercy

As I walk with this fever, my feet tingle, as if the earth refuses to conceive me. The wind gnaws at my skin. I could find solace
in a blanket of fire but even it, would eventually eat me away.

But a fleeting moment will come, when all is none, when I will be freed of feeling. To live an eternal bliss, for a fleeting
moment. It will only take passing through the worst pain known.

But such is life
